My blog is always the first to get pushed to the back burner when I am overwhelmed, unfortunately. I know it’s been a long time since I have sat down to write anything here and I don’t like that.
In January I started reading consistently and I have read 58 books so far this year. It has been a nice escape for me and I am glad that I have made reading a habit again. I used to read a lot and then life got more chaotic and I stopped picking up books for fun/a hobby. If you’d like to see what I’ve been up to you can follow my Goodreads account or my Bookstagram account.
I thought I could share some of my favorite books that I’ve read this year in this little update kinda blog. So here they are..
- The Perfect Marriage – Jeneva Rose
- Things We Never Got Over – Lucy Score
- Where the Crawdads Sing – Delia Owens
- The Grace Year – Kim Liggett
- It Ends With Us – Colleen Hoover
- Burying Water Series – K. A. Tucker
- Ugly Love – Colleen Hoover
- Reminders of Him – Colleen Hoover
- Then She Was Gone – Lisa Jewell
- Mindf*ck Series – S. T. Abby
- Haunting Adeline – H. D. Carlton
- The Confidence of Wildflowers – Micalea Smeltzer
- The Resurrection of Wildflowers – Micalea Smeltzer
There’s many more that I would also recommend but those were my favorites from this year. I am currently reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – Taylor Jenkins Reid. Have you read any of them?
In March of this year I joined Scentsy and I’ve shared a few posts about the different products but I don’t want to make this blog all about any one topic that is in my life, so I will share here and there with products or sales. It’s been a fun adventure so far and it’s something that I honestly love. It doesn’t feel like work, which I know is a good thing, because once it feels like work it won’t be as beneficial to me.
Over the summer we had a few vacations and my brother and his girlfriend came down. So our summer was pretty busy , which is what I prefer. We started back up with homeschooling in September and we’ve been pushing through that the last month.
I hope to get back to writing. I want to get back to writing. I need to make the time. So that’s what my plan is. Sharing more with y’all and adding more to my website. I actually added a few more freebies that you can check out. If you’d like some custom just fill out the custom form and I will do my best to get it taken care of.
Here’s to actually being consistent on here again…
Until next time..
xoxo

Welcome back to the blogosphere! I’ve read Seven Husbands and there were some parts that did make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I don’t typically read this genre, so it was a surprise to me too. Hope you enjoy it!

I finished it and I gotta say, I’m so glad I read it! I almost didn’t because of the hype around it. Definitely a book I’d love to be able to read again for the first time.
