With the holidays quickly approaching, I wanted to share some gift guides for kids. This has been a very weird year due to COVID so I am going to try to get things that are available to be purchased online to make it easier.
This will be a four part series over the next two weeks from the ages of newborn to 12+. Today I will be sharing the gift guide for kids ages 9 to 12.
Some of these items shared are a part of my kid’s lists and some are things we have had in the past or things I have looked into. All you have to do is click on the pictures and it will take you to the item where you can add that particular item to your cart or look at similar ones.
Nine to Twelve Years
Video games. I know some popular ones are Minecraft, Lego Worlds, Super Mario, Superhero, Fortnite.
Lego sets. There are so many options for legos now that I am sure you can find something that any kid would love.
Season pass to a theme park. This picture is not a link because I know that theme parks we have here you might not have in your area.
Superhero figures. You could also find some of another interest of the child you are buying for. Like cartoon characters or a video game character.
A new bike! Around this age gap is when Autumn really picked up biking and now she’s out on the trails with her dad whenever they get the chance to.
Gaming accessories – controllers, keyboards, steering wheels, headphones, etc. This picture is not a link, just an example of what you can get.
Model cars. You can either get one that is already put together or buy one that the child will put together themselves. I think they are both fun, especially for a kid who enjoys them or collects them.
Make up set.
Books. Around 9/10 is when Autumn took off in her reading. She was into chapter books and she read this entire series. There are so many fun series and books for early readers and this is a good series to start with.
Movies are another fun gift for this age range. Captain Underpants is a fun movie but a couple others are Emoji Movie, Mr. Peabody & Sherman, Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies, and Spongebob: Sponge out of Water.
Board games like this one or Charades, Sorry, Life, Pictionary, Monopoly, and Clue.
Basketball hoop. Getting outside and getting active are important and basketball is a fun way to get some energy out!
Soccer Goals, another fun way to get that energy out while staying active!
Magic Set. It is cool to watch them do the tricks and learn how to navigate the tricks.
Initial necklace. These would be nice stocking stuffers.
3D Puzzle Coloring Set. Something to keep them busy or to have a craft night with family or friends.
Hand Operated Drone. These are to be flown indoors and with a toss into the air, you can control the drone with your hand moving it up and down and making it flip.
