My Favorite Planning Supplies

When it comes to planning I have tried many different planners, pens, stickers, etc. I have been using some kind of planner for as long as I can remember. In middle school we had school agendas to keep track of our assignments and get parent signatures. In high school I bought my own agenda to keep track of my assignments. It wasn’t until I was in college that I really got into planning, though.

During my college days I used a Happy Planner and absolutely loved it. I loved it so much I actually got a couple more to use for different reasons. I had my own personal one, one for homeschooling, and one that I threw in my pocketbook to take along with me. I loved the fact that you could customize the planner with different covers, different weekly layout pages, stickers, dashboards, etc. There’s so many different accessories for the Happy Planner.

I am currently in a bullet journal, though. I have had one in the past and due to feeling extremely overwhelmed I moved back to my HP. About a month ago, maybe a little more, a friend of mine started sharing posts of her bullet journal and it inspired me to jump back into it. Now that I’m done with school I don’t have to worry about the space for assignments so I have more room to play with the different weekly spreads. You can literally make your bujo anything you’d like.

I’ve added in a section that will help me track my anxiety and sleeping, a birthday page, a cleaning routine page, blog idea page, and many more. Within the pages of my bullet journal I can make it however decorated or minimalist I’d like. I don’t have to pretty my page up with stickers. I’ve been using a pretty minimalist approach for mine with a little bit of pop of color.

With all that said, let’s get into the point of this post! Showing you some of my favorite supplies and accessories when it comes to planning!

First and foremost, my bujo! This is the Agenda 52 Bullet Journal from Hobby Lobby. It’s approximately a B5 size. I love the floral cover! It’s a nice sturdy cover and the pages are pretty thick and great quality.

Now, the pens. I use lots of pens. It changes daily but the ones pictured above are the main ones I use in my bujo. A papermate mechanical pencil to stencil & plan out my spreads, a Faber-Castell in size F to trace the main lines of my spreads, mildliner highlighters to add in pops of color, and a Pilot G-2 in a 0.7 for my daily writing.

Stickers! These stickers are either from the Happy Planner or Agenda 52. I don’t honestly use them a lot in here. I did for the first week because it was what I’m used to. However, I’ve found I like it more with just a sticker here & there. So I’ll add in a sticker to draw my attention to something important or to add some color. The good thing about stickers is that they won’t go bad as long as they’re not kept in a hot environment so I can keep them and use them whenever! Below is a picture of my most used sticker books!

Really all you NEED to start a bullet journal is a notebook and a pen/pencil! Don’t feel like you have to have all of the supplies that other people have because the point of bullet journals is to be minimal and to the point. No stress just getting stuff done.

I hope you enjoyed this post! If you are a planner what are some of your favorite or must have supplies/accessories??

Until next time..

xoxo
