Favorite Book

Hmm.. favorite book.. I am going to be completely honest with y’all.. I haven’t sat down and read a book in a LONG time (aside from the ones my husband is writing and I think they’re all amazing.. maybe I’m biased) but I wanted to share with y’all the last book that I read that was really good.

Title: Two by Two

Author :Nicholas Sparks

Synopsis: “#1 New York Times bestselling author Nicholas Sparks returns with an emotionally powerful story of unconditional love, its challenges, its risks and most of all, its rewards.

At 32, Russell Green has it all: a stunning wife, a lovable six year-old daughter, a successful career as an advertising executive and an expansive home in Charlotte. He is living the dream, and his marriage to the bewitching Vivian is the center of that.  But underneath the shiny surface of this perfect existence, fault lines are beginning to appear…and no one is more surprised than Russ when he finds every aspect of the life he took for granted turned upside down. In a matter of months, Russ finds himself without a job or wife, caring for his young daughter while struggling to adapt to a new and baffling reality. Throwing himself into the wilderness of single parenting, Russ embarks on a journey at once terrifying and rewarding—one that will test his abilities and his emotional resources beyond anything he ever imagined.” (Nicholas Sparks)

My Thoughts: Reading the synopsis of this book caught my eye but after reading it I can tell you that I did not expect it to go down the way that it did. I don’t way to say too much because I don’t want to give anything away to those of you who haven’t read this and might be interested. It is a great book and I love the relationship Russel has with his daughter. There are LOTS of twists in this book that  I was not expecting but they kept me wanting to continue reading it! Which is a GREAT thing, in my opinion. I get bored of books very easily but this one kept my attention and I read it in like 3 days. Keep in mind.. I am in college and I have 3 kids (2 at the time of reading this) and we homeschool so the only time I got to read it was nap time and after the girls went to bed!

My rating: 4.5 out of 5

Until tomorrow..

  1. I’m impressed, I have to say. Actually rarely do I encounter a weblog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you will have hit the nail on the head. Your concept is outstanding; the issue is something that not sufficient people are speaking intelligently about. I am very completely satisfied that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
