We have all been in the position of coming up with new ideas for dinner after being sick and tired of the same ‘ol dishes month after month, or however often. I know my family has their favorites that we don’t necessarily mind having more often but sometimes even I get tired of those. Thankfully we have this amazing tool, Pinterest, that has tons and tons of recipes on it!
I find myself sitting down regularly and searching for different recipes that we haven’t had before so we can switch things up a little bit. My oldest is extremely picky so it isn’t always easy finding something that we all love, however, it is really easy to find something the rest of us will enjoy. Today I will be sharing with you five recipes that I found on Pinterest, made, and have loved! I hope you enjoy!
Crockpot Chicken & Dumplings
This recipe is so easy to make. I love that it is simple and I can throw it in the crockpot, do what I need to do throughout the day, and not have to worry about having to cook dinner when I get home. The only thing that I do different is shredding my chicken before adding in the biscuits. It is sooo yummy and I am sure that your household will love it as much as we do!
Crockpot Meatloaf, Potatoes, and Carrots
This is another quick and simple meal that we love. I’ll be honest with y’all.. I was skeptical of this one. I was like there is no way a meatloaf will be good cooked in the crockpot.. but let me tell you it is one of the BEST meatloaf meals I have ever had! Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Crockpot Chicken Alfredo
Yes, another crockpot meal! These are seriously my favorites because they are so simple and easy. This is so much better than using the store bought sauce which I still do from time to time. Again, before adding in my noodles I shred the chicken and it is soooooo good!
Hawaiian Chicken Bake
When I first looked at this recipe I quickly closed out of it because, to me, cheese and chicken and pineapple and BBQ sauce just shouldn’t be put together. It just didn’t sound like it would taste good. I was wrong, y’all. They go together quite well and make a very yummy meal! LOL. Give it a shot for yourself!
Smothered Porkchops
Last but definitely not least another crockpot meal! As a mom of three and throwing in homeschooling and college crockpot meals save my life. I don’t use it every night but I definitely use it at least 1-2 times a week! These porkchops are so tender and fall apart in your mouth. It is amazing. I am not a huge porkchop fan but these are amazing.
I could share so many more recipes with y’all that I have found on Pinterest and have loved but I will leave y’all with these five and maybe do another post a little later! I hope that you all enjoy this post and get some yummy dinner ideas! If you try anything let me know what you think!
Until next time..
xoxo
