Growing up in Ohio I am used to having lots of snow by now. Moving to Virginia I thought that I would get a break but the last few years we’ve had quite a bit of snow and I hate it. I hate the cold. I hate the snow. Watching it snow is great. Seeing an untouched layer of beautiful white stuff is amazing. But, going outside and being in the cold… hate it. Now, I suck it up and do it for my kids because they love it.. however I do try to have small activities we can do inside that will keep us all warm.
Snow Day Activities
- Make Christmas ornaments
- Bake cookies
- Make Christmas cards
- Movie day
- Make a fort
- Play games
- Make snow ice cream
- Read a book
- Paint
- Coloring books
Those are just a few but if it’s not Christmas time you can also make Birthday cards or small homemade birthday gifts.
